St. Michael Church sets benefit wine taste Members of St. Michael Church Wine Taste Committee pose in front of the statue of the church’s patron saint as they prepare for the seventh annual St. Michael Church Family Life Center Benefit Wine Taste. Among committee members are, from left, Chuck Wirtz, Mike Fagan, Jim and Maxine Gordon, Michelle Billy, Sharon Fischer, Mark Billy and Audrey and Mike Geskey. The event will take place at 7 p.m. April 19 in the Family Life Center, 300 N. Broad St., Canfield. Proceeds will help pay for the center’s mortgage. Tickets are $50 per person and are available from committee members or by calling the church office at 330-533-6839. Wines from northeast Ohio will be paired with food by The Embassy and parishioners Mike and Karen Naffah. There will be auction items and a raffle drawing. SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR
