Home Savings Charitable Foundation recently presented Youngstown Hearing & Speech Center, a local nonprofit organization, with a check for $2,000. YHSC Executive Director Alfred Pasini, left, received the check from Frank Constantino of the Home Savings Boardman office. The funds will be used to help people with disabilities or special needs live with dignity and independence. Preparing to take flight are Rotary Club of Youngstown’s inbound and outbound exchange students, who are examining the airplane exhibit at the OH WOW Children’s Museum in downtown Youngstown. On the left is Gauthier Gaillard, 16, a student who arrived in the United States on Aug. 28 from Les Herbiers, France. He is attending Ursuline High Schooland plans to study architecture after he graduates. At right is Alex Chiu, an exchange student to Stuttgart, Germany from Rotary District 1830. He graduated this year from Canfield High School and plans to pursue studies in language and international business. He also is a third-generation Rotarian. His father, Kevin Chiu, and grandfather, Dr. Y.T. Chiu, are members of Rotary Club of Youngstown.
