The 50th class reunion of Cardinal Mooney High School Class of 1962 was celebrated Aug. 18 at Holiday Inn, Boardman. The planning committee members were: seated, from left, Audrea Marsch Neri, chairwoman; Ginger Leone Kubala, Yvonne Joseph Marzano and Maureen Reese Krull. Standing are John Mulchay, Jim Loppata, principal John Young, Rip Repasky, the Rev. Gerald DeLucia, president, and Danny Rhattigan. There was also a party Friday evening at Johnny’s Restaurant. Over 150 attended the events. Special guests included the new president, Father DeLucia, and Principal Young. A foreign exchange student, Fabio Marchetti, also attended and traveled from Trieste, Italy. The class donated more than $1,700 for restoration of the courtyard including the painting of the Virgin Mary.
