Construction crews work on the Austintown school district’s new elementary school buildings Monday. The buildings are scheduled for completion in August 2013, and in preparation, Austintown Township has begun
working to extend Idaho Road, which will help traffic flow. The road project, which will alleviate traffic once
the new schools are complete, is a $750,000 project paid for with funds from the township, school district, Mahoning County Engineer’s office and two grants.
