Smile Train is a non-profit organization that arranges programs worldwide such as Smile Day. Smile Day was held to raise money for cleft palate surgeries of children in the area. One surgery costs $250 and the school raised $369.15 by collecting loose change from students and faculty. Carolynn recently received the surgery.

Trumbull Mobile Meals Annual Basket Extravaganza, “Rockin’ the Night Away,” will take place Nov. 3 at 6 p.m. at Packard Music Hall, 1703 Mahoning Ave. NW, Warren. A special appearance by Elvis will be featured along with silent, basket and live auctions. There will be a drawing for a $6,000 diamond courtesy of Thom Duma Fine Jewelers.
