Members of the board of directors of the Mahoning Valley Historical Society preparing to welcome visitors to the fifth annual Memories of Christmas Past exhibit at the Arms Family Musuem, which opens Saturday, are, from left Dr. William J. Cleary, Marilyn Oyer, Tricia Perry, Bill Lawson, MVHS executive director, and Bob Calcagni. Exhibit hours are 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors and $4 for children. A preview party will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday. Cost is $16 for members and $20 for guests. Nikki Carter, right, director of program development for Humility of Mary Health Partners, won the celebrity dance competition at the “Shoot for the Moon, Dance with the Stars” Black & White Gala on Nov. 10, co-hosted by the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber and the American Red Cross of the Mahoning Valley. The event took place at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman. With her is her professional partner Matt Moore of Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Boardman. Carter designated the HMHP Foundation as the recipient of the $1,000 cash prize.
