The Struthers Rotary has announced the names of the winners of its 2012 Struthers High School $500 scholarships. Rotary scholarships are awarded on the basis of participation in activities and organizations that serve the community by helping others. The group also presented the $500 2012 William Comstock Scholarship, given in the name of a former Struthers High School teacher and member of the Board of Education and Rotary. Rotarian Tom Baringer, scholarship chairman, stands with scholarship recipients, from left, Samantha Basista, Ellie Bodnar, Katie Jordan and Leighan Wells. Jordan is the winner of this year’s William Comstock Scholarship.

The Trumbull County Beekeepers Association has donated $50 to the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library for the purchase of materials concerning bees for the circulating collection.
