The Yo-Mah-O Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals is inviting the public to a Spring Luncheon and Fashion Show at 1 p.m. May 20 at Tippecanoe Country Club, 5870 Tippecanoe Road, Canfield. He’s in Louisville with Bodemeister, the likely favorite for the Saturday race, and he’ll also saddle Liaison in pursuit of his fourth Derby.

Gordon Murray, a Girard native, is shown with his vintage Piper Cub plane he will fly to each of Ohio’s 88 counties beginning May 13. Murray and Ron Siwik of Chagrin Falls, who will fly another vintage plane, are making the trip to raise funds to establish a scholarship for a needy Ohio family to send a child to college. The team expects to land at Youngstown Elser Metro Airport in North Lima on May 15.
