Shirley Winkler, left, Ichiyo instructor for Ikebana of Youngstown, and Dianna Mullins, Ikebana’s president, helped to present the chapter’s recent flower show. The yearly exhibit of Japanese floral design took place June 2 and 3 at the Davis Center in Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park. Winkler, from Saxonburg, Pa., was the featured guest. The floral designs were from the Ichiyo school and are for viewing and not judging. They are placed in front of Shoji screens. The following members of Ikebana Youngstown created the designs: Esther Bertch, Sheila Bowman, Dan Burns, Kaaren Cabraja, Joyce Dunbar, Beverly Italiano, Pearl Marlos, Mullins, Beverly Patrick, Colleen Smith, Eleanor Steffens and Linda Vuletich.
