JWL event benefits group: The Junior Women’s League of Canfield hosted a wine and beer taste Jan. 29 at Vintage Estate, South Avenue, Boardman. The Columbiana County Fair Board honored Julie Herron on Jan. 25 for her 12 years of service to the county 4-H programs and Junior Fair. Don Humphrey Jr., above, president of the fair board, presented Herron with a token of appreciation. She retired Jan. 31, and a farewell open house took place in her honor at the extension office.
