The Trumbull Art Gallery, 196 E. Market St., Warren, is featuring an exhibit during the month of February in the West Gallery by the Youngstown Area Weavers Guild. Members met Feb. 5 at the gallery to open the show, called “Weaving, Fibers & Such,” which highlights the versatility of the group with creations done in traditional hand weaving, tapestry, hand spinning, knitting, felting, basketry, lace making, off-loom weaving and gourd work. Attending were, front row, from left, Carolyn Furnish, Marge Hepburn, Mary Ann Shrodek, Mary Ferguson, Sally Macklin and Patricia Zander. Back row, Howard Huffman, Shelly Marchand Cassidy, Liz Andraso (president), Nancy Marshall, Marilyn Dunn, Lois Romito, Mary Ann Gasper and Mimi Sniderman. Absent from the picture were Cherrie Mogul and Ken MacMillan.

The Warren Federated Democratic Women have planned a card party from 2 to 5 p.m. April 22 at Christ Episcopal Church, 2627 Atlantic St. N.E., Warren. Tickets are on sale now and available from any member for $7. The event features refreshments and prizes, and guests are welcome to take their own table games. Committee members include, sitting from left, Fran Koroni, Fran Wilson and Julie King; standing are Jeanne Victor, Judie Hartley and Dori Talstein. Karen Infante-Allen, Trumbull County clerk of courts, donated the tickets.
