He liked what he saw, purchased the house while in California and arrived in Youngstown on Thursday. The house’s exterior looked similar to the photos, but the interior was drastically worse — no heat, electric or water — than what was depicted in those photos.

Rotary’s Reverse Raffle: The Rotary Club of Austintown will have its annual Reverse Raffle March 10 at the Maronite Center, and members are preparing for this major fundraiser. The club sponsors a number of local, national and international projects to serve the community. Local projects include Woodside Reads literacy tutors, library book purchase programs, dictionaries for all third-graders in Austintown and Jackson Milton, scholarships for Fitch High School students and support of Fitch Interact Club. The evening fundraiser will feature dinner, cocktails, a money raffle, dancing, and basket auction. Tickets cost $150 per couple. Here, four members gear up for their sales.
