Dr. Thomas Montgomery, medical director of Integrative Medical Centers of Ohio, 148 W. Main. St., Cortland, recently received the 2012 Assistant Governor’s Award for his distinguished service to the Cortland Rotary Club. Montgomery has been an active member of the Rotary for 32 years and a community advocate for more than 30, most recently running for representative in the 65th district in the past election.

The 2012 edition of the show will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Poland United Methodist Church, 1940 Boardman-Poland Road. Antique and muscle cars as well as custom motorcycles will be part of the show. A basket raffle, 50-50 raffle, music and food will round out the activities. Proceeds will help Poland Firemen’s Association purchase additional emergency equipment for pediatric patients needed because of the specialized nature of dealing with infants and small children. The Marines, Navy, and Air Force are joining to improve Seven Ranges Scout Reservation for Boy Scouts. The group is trying to make it a multipurpose area for other groups to do activities such as band practice and sports.
