Mason’s Steak House, 38135 Salem-Unity Road, Washingtonville, will host a Build-a-Burger for Rescue fundraiser from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. “You’ve Been Taxed, Now Relax” is the theme for the event, where supporters and volunteers from the Humane Society of Columbiana County will serve meals and carryouts. A portion of the proceeds and tips will benefit the agency. There will be a basket auction, prize wheel and giveaways. Patrons are asked to take paper towels, laundry detergent, trash bags, clay kitty litter, bleach and other shelter items to exchange for raffle tickets. Preparing for the fundraiser are, from left, HSCC volunteers Jesse Dobson, Nikole Davis and Katie Erwin; steakhouse owners and their pets Chris Mason with Clea and Mary Ann Mason with Chevas; and steakhouse employees Taylor Toothman and Kayla Smith. For information call 330-332-2600.
