Virginia L. and Jerald A. Barris of West Middlesex, Pa., hold a silver cigarette case that was carried by their ancestor, Army doughboy Willis William “Bill” Barris in France during World War I. The cigarette case was found in an old metal lockbox passed down through generations of Barris men to Jerald A.
