Cordell Hanley, known as Corey, 5, and Lillie Zoldan, 6, the prince and princess of New Middletown, present a check for Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley to ACH President and Chief Executive Officer William Considine. Lillie, the daughter of Neal and Lesa Zoldan of New Springfield, and Corey, the son of Larry and Michelle Hanley of New Springfield, claimed their royal titles by raising the most funds for the hospital in July among contestants who sold lemonade, or had garage sales, neighborhood carnivals or other activities. They also served as grand marshals during the New Middletown National Night Out parade Aug. 2, and they will be making other public appearances throughout the community. The July fundraiser was coordinated by Kerri Bernard, Connie Brinker and Melissa Guzman, all of Hair Galleria in New Middletown.
