Scholarship winner chosen: The Men’s Garden Club of Youngstown’s scholarship committee selected Laura Ann Hlusko, a Farrell Area High School graduate, as this year’s recipient of its horticulture studies scholarship. Laura is one of the founders of the FAHS Gardening Club, is a Penn State master gardener and has been involved in home gardening for 10 years. She is attending Cornell University.
