Leo Arnaut, left, and his identical twin brother, William, right, are pictured with a fellow soldier holding the flag. They joined the Army in 1942 and were discharged after both were shot while in the same fox hole during the D-Day invasion in France in 1944. Both received the Purple Heart. They were born and raised in Youngstown. Leo died in February 2010, and William, in March 1995. Leo's daughter, Colleen Joerndt, submitted the picture, adding that their family members are all very proud of them.
