Fair exchange: The Auxiliary of St. Joseph Health Center, 667 Eastland SE, Warren, received a check for $1,800 following a recent sale of unwanted gold and silver jewelry. The items were taken to Goldman’s in Boardman and exchanged for cash. At the end of the sale Goldman’s presented a check for a percentage of the sales to the auxiliary. Displaying a big symbolic check are, from left, Alice Flask, auxiliary project chairwoman; Laura Hanna, a representative of Goldman’s; and Fran Cunningham, auxiliary president.
