Making memories at Special Olympics: Members of the Warren Photographic Society spent a day in May at Arrowhead Stadium in Girard, where they photographed Special Olympics Ohio. The event included more than 275 students from eight schools in six surrounding counties. The photographers assembled DVDs to be distributed to groups that participated in the event. Above, Warren Photographic Society members Joe Costarella of Girard, left, and Tracy Steele of Warren, right, present DVDs to Girard’s retiring superintendent, Joseph Jeswald, second from left, and incoming superintendent, David Cappuzzello, third from left. Other photographers who participated but are not pictured were Roger Bartscher and Joe Secka of Mineral Ridge, and Earl Christian, Robert Lampson, Joe Lattanzi, Kristina Truhan and Jim Winger, all of Warren.
