Mahoning County’s new treasurer Judge James Lanzo of Struthers Municipal Court, right, administered the oath of office to Mahoning County’s new treasurer Dan Yemma at a ceremony Wednesday inside the county courthouse. Between them is Yemma’s mother, Emily. Yemma was selected last week by county Democratic Party precinct committee members to replace Lisa Antonini, who resigned in May after being charged by the federal government with taking and failing to report a $3,000 cash contribution for her 2008 campaign. Yemma, who was chief deputy treasurer, will serve the remainder of Antonini’s term, which expires in September 2013. Yemma has said he will run for a full four-year term next year.
