Special to The Vindicator | published: June 2, 2011
In the window are Erma, a torti, and Romeo, a main coon mix, and on the bench are Moe, a gray tabby, and Max, an orange tabby. Max and Erma were adopted 11 years ago from Angels for Animals. Suzanne Ripple says they went to get one cat but ended up with two so they could keep each other company when the family wasn't home. Her daughter was ecstatic! Because neither would sit on Suzanne's lap, they adopted Moe a year later from Angels. Romeo adopted the family three summers ago when he stayed on their deck for six weeks. They took him through the stray through program at Angels, and he became part of the family. He lives up to his name — he is the most loving cat Suzanne's ever met.
