The Wean Foundation will move from its current home on Main Avenue Southeast to the top floor of the Market Block Building in Warren. The $2.5 million project will turn the 17,000-square-foot first floor storefront into a 120-seat meeting room. An incubator for nonprofi t organizations such as the Wean Foundation will be created in the lower level.

Flags fly for fundraising: Struthers Rotary Club has begun its “Fly the Flag” project. The Rotary places an American flag in your yard the weeks of Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, Labor Day and Veterans Day for a yearly fee of $25 and picks it up after the holiday. Proceeds will be used to support local youth, community and international Rotary projects. From left to right, Rotarians Dan Becker, Bryan Higgins, Tom Baringer, Marge Diorio and Mike Krake have just finished placing one of five flags on a street in Struthers.
