Where ‘History Meets Art’: The committee for the Upton House fundraiser, “History Meets Today’s Art,” includes, from left, Darlene Gardiner, Darlene Bennett, Lynne Battles, Sophie Romack, Kathy Lepro and Susan Stoddart. “History Meets Today’s Art” is set from 2 to 5 p.m. Aug. 7 at Upton House, 380 Mahoning Ave. NW, Warren. The public is invited to enjoy light refreshments, wine tasting and music for the ticket price of $15. Tickets may be obtained by mailing checks to 1045 Eagle Trace Drive, Warren, OH, 44484. Preordered tickets will be available at the front door of Upton House on the day of the event. Activities also are planned that evening at Upton, where patrons will find music, refreshments and docents modeling wearable art designed by Trumbull Art Guild artists, who will be painting to live music in the Women’s Park, across the street.
