Frazar, a 27th round draft pick by the Indians last month, played his first full game as a Scrapper, going 2 for 4 and scoring the game-winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning to lead Mahoning Valley to a 2-1 win over the Tigers.

Florence Steiner purchased a pool for her Wick Avenue home in July. She has lived at the address for 50 years and has had a pool in her front yard many of those years. The Youngstown Zoning Department is making sure those with pools get the proper permits and follow zoning regulations.

For more than a year, New Middletown village has been without a gas station, forcing residents to drive either to Poland, Boardman or in the other direction, Pennsylvania. When built in October, Tic Toc Food Mart will be the only gas provider in the village.
