Friends and neighbors of Betty Lou Davis, 79, of Athens County carry her in a homemade coffin that they made a few days earlier to her final resting place at Stewart Cemetery. She died last Saturday and the family had no money for her funeral. Friends built her a coffin, dug the grave, and had the funeral, Saturday, February 5, 2011.
