Members of Youngstown Scleroderma Support Group’s 8th annual Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma committee and friends gather after the recent walk. The event drew 375 participants and raised $40,000 to help provide educational seminars and local support groups for patients and caregivers, and to contribute to research grants and clinical trials to help find a cure for the life-threatening autoimmune disease.
