Making them aware: Because it cares about children in the community, Hubbard Optimist Club has been donating money to support various drug awareness programs for students in Hubbard schools for the past 15 years. Ray Wright, Optimist president, continued the tradition recently by presenting a check for $225 to Cindy Lacko, principal at St. Patrick School, where the funds will be used to support the drug awareness programs.
