Log cabin fever: Boy Scout Troop 184 of St. Joseph Church in Austintown recently toured the Austin Log Cabin to learn about their community, how it received its name, for whom the cabin is named, how it was built, about Austintown Schools and Mahoning County. Anyone interested in a free private tour for their club, family or organization can call the Austintown Historical Society at 330-799-8051 for information on the cabin and/or the Strock Stone House, both National Historical Landmarks.
