Parla italiano? Sì: Michael Angiolelli, at left, and Victor DiTommaso, both students at Holy Family School in Poland, came up winners at the 35th annual Italian Language Contest on March 12 at Youngstown State University. Michael took first place at the eighth-grade level for his poem “Carnivale,” and Victor won first prize at the fifth-grade level for his poem “Il Febbraio.” Nearly 200 high school and elementary students who are studying Italian participated.
