Living history lesson in Girard: John Pratt, Ken Miller and Ray O’Neill, left to right in back, volunteered to help re-enact life in the mid-1800s for Mr. Frank’s fourth-grade class at Girard Intermediate School. The men showed the children the work of blacksmiths. Class members are Brianna Fields, Michael Johnson, Dominic Catello, Robert Dolwick, Courtnee Molek, Bryce Fluent, Samantha Costarella, Dominic Kendra, and Zachary Rogers. Students spent the morning at the Barnhisel House for a living history lesson sponsored by members of the Girard Historical Society.
