Charles Butler, 90, left, of Liberty, and Frank R. Swast, 85, of North Carolina, look over old World War II photos. Butler was Swast’s commanding officer on a ship when they both served in the Navy. They haven’t seen each other in more than 60 years. Efforts by Swast’s family here helped bring them together for a reunion Wednesday at the Springfield Grille in Boardman.
