A is for apple: With the arrival of fall, students at St. Patrick School in Hubbard had an opportunity to learn all about apples. One of their lessons came when Mellony Leonard, a second-grade teacher, taught some of her students how to bake apples. Absorbed in learning the technique and looking forward to sampling the results of their baking skills are, from left, Elizabeth Chrobak, Audra Chumley and Claire Riffle.
