NICK MAYS | THE VINDICATOR
The Friends of Children’s Aid Society of Mercer County will sponsor a flower, yard and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 
4 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, at 350 W. Market St., Mercer, Pa. A few of the annuals, perennials, flats, decorative pots, herbs and vegetable plants to be offered at the event are displayed by, from left in front, Joan Foster, Carol Smith and  Darlene McBride; in middle, Ruth Wingard and Sandy Stainbrook; and at back, Liz Bolster. Lunch will be available, and there will be a sale of antiques, miscellaneous items and a variety of baked goods. Plants can be pre-ordered by calling (724) 662-4730 or (724) 588-6203.
