During Nurse Appreciation Day on May 6, students and staff at St. Patrick School in Hubbard presented a Begonia plant in a hanging basket to the school nurse, Joan Humphry, who is always there to bandage a knee, listen to a problem or give out “magic mints” that heal all wounds. Shown during the presentation are, from left, Kent Kyronovich (fifth grade), nurse Humphry, and Julian Maiorano, (fourth grade).
