The St. Rose School Capital Campaign was kicked off on May 23 at the school gymnasium, where Mary Ellen Britt, committee chairwoman, announced an anonymous donor has pledged $200,000 toward the $1 million goal set by the committee for needed renovations at the school. Work will be completed as pledges are received, and the campaign will end with the 100th anniversary of the school in 2013. Contributions can be made by calling 330-545-1163 or by e-mail to strosealumni@yahoo.com. Serving on the committee are from left, front row, Patrick Rubinic, Catherine DiRubba, Becky Lowry, Britt, Linda Borton, Janet Tondo-Steele, Sandra Reinhart, Mary Pat Foley, and Colleen Scott, and back row, Frank DiRubba, Ron Britt, Kurt Latell, and Michael Costantini. Members not pictured are Carolyn Korenic and Patrick McClurkin.
