Support for enrichment program: Warren Junior Women’s League/GFWC raised $1,489 during a “Taste of Trumbull County” fundraiser that took place in April at Candlelite Knolls in Cortland. A check for that amount was presented to its Life Enriching Activities Program (L.E.A.P.), to help support a summer camping program for handicapped youths from 6 to 22 years of age in Trumbull County. Youngstown and Warren offi cials announce the fi rst wave of federal indictments to come out of the Violence, Gun Reduction Interdiction Program. Officers have confiscated 41 guns and indicted four people since the coordinated local and federal offensive against crime in the Mahoning Valley began July 4.
