Laying down the law: “Essential Estate Planning Documents” was the theme of Jeffrey D. Heintz, center, an estate planning and probate law attorney with Manchester, Bennett, Powers & Ullman, when he spoke at the June 18 meeting of the Kiwanis Club of Youngstown at the YMCA. His talk covered durable powers of attorney, wills and trusts and how these legal documents play an important role in two phases of life, disability and death. Joining Heintz after his presentation were, from left, Chris McCarty, Kiwanis Club president, and Robert Gardner, CPA and financial adviser with the Bennett/Gardner Group, Butler Wick Division of Stifel Nicolaus & Co., program sponsor.
