BE MY VALENTINE: Despite the recent snowstorm, Brock Glass, a teacher at Mahoning County High School in Youngstown, persuaded Megan Kennedy, an art major at Slippery Rock University, to brave the elements and travel to Columbiana for a tour of Roberta’s Gallery of Fine Art. After visiting the gallery, the owner, Roberta Myers, invited the New Castle couple to view a private collection of art at her home. While in the garden room, Brock dropped to his knee and proposed to the surprised Megan before placing a ring on her finger. Coming out of hiding to share the excitement were the couples’ parents, who had helped plan the engaging moment.
