REEN BUILDING: The Arlington Heights Recreation Center, 801 Park Ave., in the midst of the Youngstown Metropolitan Housing Authority’s Arlington Heights housing community on the city’s North Side, has received a U.S. Green Building Council award for its energy-efficient heating and cooling systems and water-conserving plumbing fixtures. The center opened in January 2009.
