Steve Gasior, an eighth-grade science teacher, donned at Santa suit Monday as part of the Toys for Tots talent show at Choffin Career and Technical Center. Sgt. Robert Eggleston of the Marines took in the show with Santa. The talent show was a fundraiser for Toys for Tots and raised $900 for the cause.

Monica Roth, owner of Charly’s Restaurant in Austintown, has sold hundreds of raffle tickets and is giving away a 32-inch Phillips flat screen TV today. The money raised, nearly $3,000, will be given to the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley.
