Up close and personal: A visit to the WFMJ-TV studio in Youngstown was an enlightening experience for a group of fourth-grade girls from Holy Family School, on Center Road in Poland. Led by Tina Kali, who along with Melanie Jones planned the event, the Acts of Random Kindness girls toured the studio and heard a talk by Madonna Pinkard, public relations representative. They also viewed a live news broadcast by studio personalities Cindy Matthews, Bob Black, Dana Balash and Mark Koontz. As a memento of the occasion the group posed for an official picture. Gathered for the event are, from left, Simone Izzo, Jayda Benson, Jessie Cummings, Angelina Sabatino, Brooke Chandler, Matthews, Isabella Massaro-Suchora (back), Aidan McDanel, Angelina Santora, Black, Katherine Kali, Anna Nietzel (back), Marissa Mangino, Lauren Perchak and Hannah Balash.
