The 34th annual Brier Hill Scholarship Dinner and Dance will be Friday at Mount Carmel Social Hall, 343 Via Mount Carmel. Doors open at 5:30; dinner will be at 6. The sign displayed above by Kathy Rimedio, scholarship chairwoman, and Ray Greco, committee president, informs the public that a $1,000 scholarship check will be presented to a Youngstown State University student at the event. Cost for the evening is $25. Tickets can be purchased until Monday by calling Bob Rimedio, (330) 965-6270, or Anthony Julian, (330) 799-8184.
