The Vindicator: A Substance Abuse Prevention program was presented recently for pupils in the seventh- and eighth-grade classes at St. Patrick School in Hubbard. The difference between street and medically prescribed drugs, the reasons people abuse drugs and the consequences of making bad choices with drugs were explained by, right, Sgt. Lou Carsone of the Hubbard City Police Department. The program also included a video documentary about the life of a person with a life-changing drug problem and a question-and-answer session.
