The Vindicator/Geoffrey Hauschild Paul Rainey, a retired resident of Youngstown, thinks healthcare is too expensive and believes tort refrom should be included in the health care bill saying "Wouldn't it be quicker and simpler to fix that than passing health care reform?" To which the congressman replied, "I don't think your gonna find the level of savings just by doing tort reform. I think its too complicated to say that there is one silver bullet thats going just make everything else go away" adding "I think it will end up being a part of all this." 9.14.2009

GRATEFUL STUDENT: Brenda Brady, a licensed practical nurse from North Bloomfield, is one of the first adult students to enroll at the new Eastern Gateway Community College. She spoke during the college’s official opening ceremony in Youngstown Monday and said being able to attend the college fulfills a childhood dream. She’s enrolled in the LPN to RN access program.
