endangered: At a recent meeting of the Youngstown Rotary Club, the program focused on the Ohio Social Law, which was designed to protect young people from underage drinking. The speaker was Sam Landry, above with his wife. He provided information about youth alcoholism in Northeast Ohio. According to the speaker, more than 40 percent of underage drinkers in the nation were provided alcohol by parents or other adults. He stressed the need for amending the Ohio Social Law, and he asked club members to contact state politicians and request that they pass the new bill of Ohio Code Section 4301.69.
