CELEBRATION: Area businesses and individuals are being asked to become sponsors for the fifth annual Celebration of Scouting Breakfast, which will mark Scouting’s 100th anniversary. The event has been planned by the Friends of Scouting for 7:15 a.m. March 9 at the Holiday Inn in Boardman in an effort to raise $40,000 for Scouting in this district. Honored at the breakfast will be Eagle Scout John Wolboldt and Judge Theresa Dellick, and the speakers will be Eagle Scouts James Evans of Boardman and William Wainio of Poland. UNITY: Three generations are represented in a martial-arts training class conducted at Master Park Martial Arts International. Among those participating in or supporting the program are, from left, Master Park; Branden St. Clair, 13, who was the first in his family to get involved in martial arts; his mother, Patricia, holding his sister, Tori; his father, Brian; and his grandmother, Wendy, and grandfather, Robert St. Clair.
