Special to The Vindicator
SOMETHING SPECIAL: The first Community Fun Day for seniors took place on Oct. 26 at the community center in Boardman Township Park. It was a time for socialization, exercise, crafts, lunch and bingo shared by 73 members of community facilities. During the event Pam Rogers from the Senior Independence Senior Center, standing at left, informed those in attendance of resources available to them in the community. This special fun day was sponsored by the Senior Independence Senior Center of Mahoning County, Boardman Township Park and Senior Independence Adult Day Center. Future fun days for seniors will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. the fourth Monday of each month at the center.
