• Special to The Vindictor CELEBRATION: Area businesses and individuals are being asked to become sponsors for the fifth annual Celebration of Scouting Breakfast, which will mark Scouting’s 100th anniversary. The event has been planned by the Friends of Scouting for 7:15 a.m. March 9 at the Holiday Inn in Boardman in an effort to raise $40,000 for Scouting in this district. Honored at the breakfast will be Eagle Scout John Wolboldt and Judge Theresa Dellick, and the speakers will be Eagle Scouts James Evans of Boardman and William Wainio of Poland. Members of the FOS steering committee are, from left, front row, Chuck Whitman, George Grim, Dave Deibel, Gwen Smith, district representative Sarah Marino, Bob Zedaker and Rory Phelan, and in back, Brad Henderson, George Basista, Beth Basista, Mark Luke, Elinor Zedaker and Shar Phelan.
