PERFECT PERCH: A hawk chose the Fourth of July to pose as a flagpole finial atop an American flag in the yard of Bill Hughes on Blueberry Hill Drive in Canfield. The bird, which had been fighting with other hawks to dominate the territory, paused to rest just long enough for neighbor John Schuler to capture the rare moment on film.
